For 20 years, DIEL has been developing a special collection of winter clothing for the needs of the Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition, with the goal of supporting scientists and their work in extreme conditions by providing them with reliable and safe gear.
The feedback we receive from them allows us to improve our clothing and make it even more durable. Especially for you, we have created equipment with which we can explore even the most challenging corners of the world together.

SEAM TAPING
Special machine covers seams with heated polyurethane tape
Stitch holes from the sewing needle are fully sealed
Completely prevents water penetration
To make a garment fully waterproof, water entry must be prevented in every part. During sewing of individual pieces, the sewing machine needle creates small holes in the coated fabric, which significantly reduce the garment's overall waterproofness. Seams on DIEL high-tech garments are taped with soft polyurethane tape applied from the inside by heating, making them completely waterproof.

The most advanced method for cutting fabrics
High-intensity laser beam cuts fabric with great precision and seals the edges
Precise cutting, regardless of shape and size
No frayed edges or loose threads
Laser is the best technology for cutting fabrics as it helps overcome practical challenges such as complex shapes, fraying edges, and cut accuracy regardless of size and repeatability. The resulting cut has a “sealed” edge without loose threads.
DIEL uses high-intensity laser light focused on the cutting area, creating local heating and bonding the selected zones.

Seamless assembly using adhesive film replaces seams in critical areas
Top-level waterproofing
Excellent strength and durability in washing
To achieve better design and performance characteristics of garments, DIEL replaces seams in certain areas with a special seamless adhesive technology.Structural seams, zippers, pockets, and other elements can be manufactured using state-of-the-art machines and adhesive films. This avoids visible seams and eliminates the need for additional seam sealing.
This exceptional seamless technology provides excellent tensile strength and high durability in washing.

Care
• Close all zippers and Velcro.
• Turn the garment inside out before washing.
• Wash by hand or in a washing machine at 30 °C.
• Use neutral detergents and rinse thoroughly.
• Do not bleach or use fabric softener.
• We recommend ironing at a temperature not exceeding 100 °C. Please use a cloth between the iron and the garment.
• Do not dry clean.
• Use a dryer at the lowest possible temperature setting, below 30 °C, or on a delicate cycle. If you don’t have a dryer, dry in the shade, then iron.
• Before washing, remove attached leather accessories.
Attention!
The garment’s insulation is synthetic down.
We recommend the following instructions:
• Close all zippers and Velcro.
• Wash by hand or in a washing machine at 30 °C.
• Use neutral detergents.
• Use a dryer at the lowest possible temperature. Add a few tennis balls to break up the down and prevent clumping.
• If you don’t have a dryer, dry in the shade away from direct heat. After drying, fluff the down with your hands.
