Stain Removal:
Stain removers should be applied dry directly onto the stain before washing.
Machine washing should be done in a standard washing machine at a water temperature below 30°C / 90°F.
The use of fabric softeners, bleach, or laundry powders is not recommended. DIEL recommends using special detergents for waterproof garments that do not contain bleach, which clean the product without affecting its durable water-repellent (DWR) coating.
Ironing is not recommended, though in some cases it can be done at a low temperature without steam.
Drying:
Do not use a spin cycle.
Dry the garments on a hanger.
Careful use of a hair dryer is also possible to refresh the water-repellent function of the fabric. To restore water repellency, a special silicone-free waterproofing treatment or spray can be applied. Remove any natural leather elements before washing.
On each product page, you can find specific washing and care instructions based on the materials used.
